Dear Members:
City Council elections will be held this November 7th. The Long Beach Chamber of Commerce has invited each candidate (from both the Republican and Democratic parties) running for the LBNY City Council to take part in a one-on-one interview. Each interview will be hosted by the Chamber and recorded on video. Any interested candidate will be given the opportunity to share their views on specific issues that affect our LBNY business community.
The answers to the questions posed in the interviews will help define who the candidates are as people, how they may serve as your representative, and showcase their economic intentions affecting our business community and residents.
Please keep an eye out for these interview videos. All videos will be shared on the Chamber’s social media platforms and the Chamber’s website. The purpose of these conversations is to shed further light on the issues that affect us all, and to do so in a direct manner. We want to help you get the information you need to make an informed choice when you vote.
Your vote matters! It is our hope that these interview sessions will help everyone make informed decisions come the November elections!
Board of Directors, The Long Beach Chamber of Commerce.
