2026 Nominating is now OPEN.
Each year The Long Beach Chamber of Commerce hosts its "Business Person of the Year" campaign. This award recognizes a local small business owner who has made a contribution to the Long Beach economy and/or community. All Chamber Members are eligible for this coveted title. We are now seeking nominations! Candidates are nominated by fellow Chamber members. One nomination per member, you may also nominate yourself. The nomination committee select the finalists, and then a single business person is selected by vote. The selected member is then invited to join members of the board in October 2026, at the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce 39th annual Businessperson of the Year and Legislative Breakfast
